Benzoquinone‐mediated glucose/glucose oxidase reaction at pyrolytic graphite electrode

Abstract

Abstract In view of the high reversibility of the p‐benzoquinone/hydroquinone couple at a pyrolytic graphite (PG) electrode (compared to platinum or carbon paste electrodes) the glucose‐glucose oxidase (GOD)‐benzoquinone coupled reaction was examined on a pyrolytic graphite surface in homogeneous solution and kinetic data obtained.
