Abstract

L'A. avance deux raisons de penser que les objets materiels de l'ontologie de Locke ont une etendue a la fois spatiale et temporelle, et possedent donc des parties spatiales et temporelles. Dans la premiere partie, l'A. conclut a une ontologie quadri-dimensionnelle concernant l'existence d'un organisme a differents moments. Dans la seconde partie, l'A. montre que cette ontologie quadri-dimensionnelle provient de la doctrine de la creation heritee de Newton, selon laquelle dieu a cree les corps en modifiant certaines regions de l'espace
