High-Brightness, Fiber-Coupled Diode Laser System for Fiber Laser Pumping

Abstract

We report the operation of a very high-brightness diode laser system for fiber laser pumping with over 1.7 kW of output power from a 400 mμ core, 0.22 NA fiber.
