Abstract

The article outlines Forestry Canada's mandate and its role in international relations together with those of other federal departments and agencies.For its international program, the Department has identified six objectives which deal with trade, science, development aid. policy, intelligence and the environment. Approaches are described to achieve each of these objectives.
