Resource allocation in AF-OFDMA two-way relay systems

Abstract

A resource allocation problem is considered 1 in amplify-and-forward (AF) based multirelay and multiuser two-way relay systems under orthogonal frequency division multiple access (OFDMA) modulation. In order to maximize the system data rate, a joint relay selection and power allocation algorithm is proposed with total power constraint. An equivalent channel power gain is proposed to simplify the system model. The relay node and users, which has the maximal value of equivalent channel power gains, are used to transmit signals for every subchannel. The water-filling method is used to power allocation among subchannels. Simulation results show that the system performance is improved with the proposed algorithm.
