Pd/TiO2-Multiwall Nanotubes toward Electrocatalytic Oxidation of Formic Acid in Acid Media

Abstract

This work reports the electro-oxidation of formic acid using Pd as catalyst supported on third generation TiO 2 nanotubes. The results indicate that it is possible to carry out the electro-oxidation of formic acid in acidic medium, and shows an increase in the oxidation of formic acid, by increasing the Pd electrodeposition time on TiO 2 NTBs.
