Resource Allocation for Downlink OFDMA Relay Networks with Imperfect CSI

Abstract

We propose a new resource allocation scheme for a downlink orthogonal frequency division multiple access (OFDMA) relay network with imperfect channel state information (CSI). In the proposed scheme, resources are allocated to the channels between a base station, relays, and users such that the weighted sum of goodput is maximized under power constraints of the base station and relays. Simulation results show that the proposed scheme achieves much higher weighted sum of goodput than a conventional scheme.
