The Gurnee-Magee and Rosen-Zener proposed solutlons to the coupled differential equations for collisions at or near resonanace are compared, Solutions are integrated numerically on a DEUCE compoter using a four-stage Runge- Kutta method. The proposed solutlons are compared with the computer solutions. Results indicate that the Rosen-Zener solutlon is more accurate over a wider range than the Gurnee-Magee solution. (H.F.A.)
