Abstract

In this research project we attempt to refine and adapt an existing Simulation-Based Learning Environment (SBLE) to promote discussions and learning about coastal protection planning among local stakeholders and decision makers. The project involves both the refinement of the current SBLE and the refinement of facilitation plans to promote an evidence-based approach to decision and policy making, assessing the actual insights that participants develop during the experience.
