Abstract

Changes have been observed in the nmr spectra of diallylmercury as a function of temperature which seem explicable in terms of allylic rearrangement and intermolecular exchange. Analysis of the proton spectra of \ndiallylmercury spectra using a modified LAOCOON II computer program gave coupling constant and chemical shift parameters which reproduced the spectra at 60, 100, and 220 MHz.
