The X-band sub-array building block for active scalable array antenna
Abstract
This paper presents an X-band multifunction, wideband and wide-angle scan sub-array building block (SBB) used in active scalable array antenna (ASAA). The configuration and development of the SBB and its key components are introduced in detail. The SBB has excellence extensibility of performance and structure, can be a fundamental radar element of scalable phased-array radar architecture to construct ASAA of varying size.
