Bell inequalities and the cost of classically simulating non-local correlations is studied. The method gives a physical meaning to the degree of violation of bell inequalities and provides an objective way to compare different inequalities. It was found that different optimal inequalities exist for two-setting bell experiments. Though, for certain correlations, the optimal inequality is not a facet inequality.
