Nuevas aportaciones documentales para la biografía de Alvar Núñez Cabeza de Vaca

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to add new documentation to that aready presented in my dissertation in 1987, about the life and works of Alvar Núñez Cabeza de Vaca. Even though the most recent publications about this person continue praising his moral and Christian virtues, I am more interested in the capacity of the author of Naufragios to mislead most of the people who study his work.
