Application context aware management scheme for application synchronization among mobile devices

Abstract

This paper describes application context-aware managements scheme to synchronize applications among mobile devices. Application contexts mean application triggering facts, application execution environments or user preferences to execute an application. Application Context-Aware Management (ACAM) Server gathers dynamic information such as a user's preferences, dynamic device status including sensors such as GPS and static information such as user information, device information and application information. ACAM recommend a proper application with same functionalities to a mobile device installed a different operating system which is based on the application contexts. We implemented ACAM system and demonstrated functionalities.
