Adsorption of Carbon Dioxide onto Hydrophobic Zeolite under High Moisture.

Abstract

The apparent adsorption equilibrium coefficient and the effective diffusion coefficient of CO 2 in zeolite adsorbents at ambient pressure and temperature were chromatographically measured and moment analysis is attempted on the basis of frozen water model. The differences of the adsorption equilibrium and diffusivity in the zeolite particle between the systems with and without coexistent water vapor have become clear.
