George W. Heise

Year: 1939 Journal:   Transactions of The Electrochemical Society Vol: 75 (1)Pages: 147-166   Publisher: Electrochemical Society

Abstract

Various applications of porous electrodes are described and their usefulness in electro‐oxidations and reductions, both organic and inorganic, is discussed. Three processes are considered in detail : electrowinning of copper, production of p ‐nitraniline, and oxidation of arsenite to arsenate with accessory air depolarization at the cathode.
