Development and application of indium oxide semiconductor odor sensor

Abstract

におい検知素子の感応材料として酸化インジウム(In2O3)半導体を用い,表面処理などを行って,新しい汎用型のにおい検知素子を開発した.In2O3型検知素子では,応答・復帰特性および湿度特性が改善され,測定時間の短縮と試料中湿度による測定誤差の低減など,実用的に優れた性能を実現した.無臭ガス(H2 (水素),CH4 (メタン)など)に対する感度の抑制も良好である.本報では,In2O3型検知素子の概要について述べ,臭気指数管理のためのポータブル型「ニオイセンサ」の活用および定置型「臭気モニタ」による環境臭気の管理など,アプリケーションについても取り上げる.
