Abstract

Abstract The remanent magnetization is calculated for particles with a number of equivalent easy directions of magnetization, and also for particles with mixed uniaxial anisotropies. Application is made to a variety of materials. In an Appendix the magnetization curves for particles with unidirectional anisotropy are calculated.
