Abstract

The electrical and field emission properties of the epoxy composites containing 0·1–1 wt-% of multiwalled carbon nanotubes (MWNT) were studied. Conductivity measurements show that the electrical percolation threshold concentration is between 0·1 and 0·5 wt-%. The 1 wt-% filled MWNT/epoxy thick film demonstrates an excellent field emission property with a low turn-on electric field and a high emission current density.
