Reliability Simulation of Large-Scale Networks using Sampling-Scale

Abstract

Network reliability simulations span periods of time as lengthy as 20-years. The amount of sampling events may create run-time issues that prevent the simulation model from completing. This paper presents a sampling scale technique that can yield accurate results within a reasonable simulation time. This technique was used for reliability simulation for the Army future tactical network
