Abstract

ABSTRACT Metal-Organic Frameworks(MOFs) are attracting attentions from various fields including chemistry, materials science, physics and medical science because of its exceptionally large pore volumes and surface areas which far exceed those of zeolites. The possibilities of applications of MOFs for gas separation, catalysts, drug delivery, and high explosives detections have already been verified. In these review the author describes the structures, synthetic methods and applications of MOFs based on the literatures published during last 15 years to give the readers general pictures of MOF itself as well as the global research trends of these materials.Key Words : MOF(금속-유기물 골격), Organic Ligands(유기물 리간드), Hydrogen Storage(수소저장), Gas Separation(가스 분리), Explosive Detection(고폭화약 탐지) 1. 서 론 [1]기공성 나노결정은 촉매, 가스 흡착/저장, 식품 등 다양한 분야에 응용되는데, 이 중에서 특히 금속-유기물 골격(MOF : Metal Organic Frameworks)이 가장 주목을 받고 있다. MOF는 표면적과 기공 부피가 크다는 점 외에 적절한 빌딩불럭을 선택하고, 합성 후 처리를 통해서 MOF의 화학적 특성을 조절하여 원하는 특성을 갖는 분자를 설계할 수 있다는 점이 가장 큰 장점
