Low Temperature Sintered Ni-Zn-Cu Ferrite

Abstract

Tlie low teiiiperatiire sintering of Ni-211-Cu ferrite has been investigated by usual ceramic tecluliqoe.The sintering density and the permeability of the sintered ferrite were strongly affected by the size of tlie starting oxide powders and the pre-siiiteriiig teniperature.It was most effective to utilize fule particles of iron oxide aid to calcine at about 800C for the -preparation of high penneability ferrite.Tlie siiitered ferrite with a density greater tlian 4.5gIcc aiid the peniieabilitv at 1OMHz greater than 200 was obtained at relative low sintering temperature (about 900°C).This condition is suitable for multilayer chip inductor application.
