An improved generalized predictive control algorithm for multivariable system

Abstract

In this paper an improved generalized predictive control algorithm for multivariable is proposed for restraining overshoot. By designing independent cost function for every system input the compute work is reduced largely. In order to restrain overshoot the single step predictive output deference has been introduced into every cost function. By softening the system input the calculating of inverse matrix is avoided. The problem of long accommodation time and large overshoot has also been resolved using this algorithm. Effectiveness of this algorithm has been proved by simulation research.
