Interference excision in DSSS based on undecimated wavelet packet transform

Abstract

An algorithm for suppressing narrowband interference in direct-sequence spread-spectrum (DSSS) systems is presented. It is based on a combination of frequency shifts with the undecimated wavelet packet transform. Simulation results show very robust and nearly optimal performance.
