Abstract

A large spot and projection welder has been modified to permit microprocessor control of the welding cycle. The original control relays and timers have been replaced by a keyboard-controlled M6800 microprocessor system driving small relays which control the power relays of the welder. A CRT monitor is used to display all settings of the welder timing parameters. Changes in timing are easily entered from the keyboard.
