Abstract

was surface modified with PbTe via a hydrothermal process followed by heat-treating. The materials were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), cyclic voltammetry, and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy. The XRD results indicate that the crystal structure of does not change after surface coating. The TEM image shows a coating layer on the surface of the core. Electrochemical analysis demonstrates that the discharge capacity and capacity retention behavior of are remarkably improved after surface modification.
