BREAST CANCER SURVIVORS CAN EXPERIENCE MUSCLE IMBALANCES, LOSS OF FLEXIBILITY, AND DECREASED QUALITY OF LIFE. RESISTANCE TRAINING (RT) CAN ALLEVIATE THESE EFFECTS, AS WELL AS INCREASE ABILITY TO RETURN TO PRETREATMENT ACTIVITY LEVELS. THIS COLUMN REVIEWS COMMON TREATMENTS FOR BREAST CANCER AND EXAMINES RT FOR SURVIVORS AND THOSE UNDERGOING TREATMENT.
