Abstract

MoO2 nanorods were synthesized by hydrothermal method using ethyl alcohol as reducing agent. The pristine MoO2 exhibited a reversible discharge capacity of 300 mAh·g−1 under the current density of 0.1 mA·cm−2. PANI/MoO2 nanocomposites were obtained and the electrochemical tests demonstrated that the hybrid exhibited enhanced discharge capacity of 530 mAh·g−1 as an anode material for lithium-ion batteries.
