Improve the Quality of Scholarly Documents Publications

Abstract

The history institutes of the academies of science of the Central Asian republics and of Kazakhstan, the Kazakh and Kirgiz affiliates of the Institute of Marxism-Leninism of the Central Committee of the CPSU, jointly with the archives offices of the councils of ministers and central government archives of the Kazakh, Uzbek, Tajik, Turkmenian, and Kirgiz SSRs have initiated large-scale publication of documents on the history of the Civil War in Central Asia and Kazakhstan. It is planned to publish two volumes, to be included in the USSR-wide series of documentary publications, Pages from the History of the Civil War in the USSR [Iz istorii grazhdanskoi voiny v SSSR].
