Abstract

Abstract Multi-layered thick films of barium strontium titanate (BST), with a thickness of 50 to 200μmlm, were prepared by the electrophoretic deposition technique. The temperature dependence of the dielectric properties of BST films were arbitrarily changed with piling the layers of various kinds of Ba1-xSrxTiO3 layers. Grain orientation and/or the occurrence of hexagonal structure were also observed on the deposited films with the thickness of less than 100μmlm in the sintering at a temperature above 1380°C
