Methanol Synthesis by Catalytic Hydrogenation of Carbon Dioxide on CuO-ZnO-Al2O3 and CuO-ZnO-Al2O3-Ga2O3-MgO Catalysts.

Abstract

接触水素化反応を利用して炭酸ガスをメタノールに変換する実用触媒を開発する日的で,CuO-ZnO-Al2O3系3成分触媒とこれに耐久性向上のための助触媒を添加したCuO-ZnO-Al2O3-Ga2O3-MgO系5成分触媒について耐久性試験を行い,5成分触媒の方が活性および耐久性に優れており,GaとMgの添加が耐久性の向上に有効であることを明らかにした.未反応ガスを反応器にリサイクルする運転で,5成分触媒は圧力9MPa,温度503K,リサイクル比4の条件で,約2,000時間,供給した炭酸ガスの95%以上をメタノールに転換できることを明らかにした.また,現有プロセスに5成分触媒を使用した場合の消費動力を最小にする合成圧力を計算し,触媒を16,000時間で交換する場合は圧力7MPa,リサイクル比5.5の条件で,32,000時間で交換する場合は圧力10MPa,リサイクル比5の条件で運転することが動力的に有利であるという結果を得た.
