Abstract

Abstract Using carefully purified poly(methylphenylsilane) (PMPS), we have successfully fabricated PMPS LEDs which emit UV light at room temperature for the first time. The study of I-V characteristics of PMPS LEDs indicates that Trapped-Charge-Limited (TCL) currents dominate the charge transport in LEDs at high current region.
