Design of Elevator Logic Control System

Abstract

This paper provides a good method to improve the safety and reliability of elevator logic system. It uses watchdog timer to prevent code-execution errors, 3-phase sequence detector to check for an incorrect phase sequence or missing phase voltages, and DC brake current sensor to measures the flow of current through the brake coil to avoid any damage on the drive-brake system.
