Synthese von L‐Glutaminyl‐L‐histidyl‐L‐phenylalanyl‐L‐arginyl‐L‐tryptophyl‐glycin

Abstract

The synthesis of the pentapeptide derivative Na α ‐Cbo‐N(Im)‐Bzl‐His‐Phe‐Arg‐Try‐Gly‐ONB and the synthesis of the hexapeptide H · Glu(NH 2 )‐His‐Phe‐Arg‐Try‐Gly · OH (acetate) comprising the sequence of six amino acid residues common to ACTH and α‐ and β‐MSH along various pathways is described in detail. This compound shows a very weak MSH‐activity (2 × 10 5 U/g).
