Inertial navigation method based on absolute acceleration measurements

Abstract

The physical grounds of an inertial navigation method that measures the resultant vector of specific forces (absolute acceleration) are stated. The problem of combining this method with the conventional method based on measuring the vector of the apparent acceleration is discussed.
