Some polyamides from dicarboxylic acids containing aromatic ether groups

Abstract
Abstract The preparation of some novel dicarboxylic acids * containing one or more phenoxyacetic acid group(s) is described. The acids give polyamides of high molecular weight when condensed with diamines. Some properties of the polyamides with hexamethylenediamine and decamethylenediamine are described.
