Benefits of Q-factor based routing in WDM metro networks

Abstract

A novel study focusing on impairment constraint routing based on Q-factor as the routing cost criterion in a metro WDM network has shown significant benefits in terms of physical performance optimisation and blocking probability reduction. (2 pages)
