Substitution of monovalent Na+ at La3+ in La1-xNaxMnO3 (LNMO) manganites, synthesized using solid state reaction route, results in ferromagnetic (FM) behavior. Increase in monovalent Na-content in the system leads to reduction in magnetic transition temperature and magnetic moment which has been discussed in the light of structural changes taking place due to the substitution and the structure-property correlations.
