Abstract
This paper introduces architecture of Android system and discusses about the design and implementation of the Android platform-based application. Based on that, the paper illustrates the design and implement of Android platform-based RSS reader system, with the popular RSS technology and web services provided by Java Servlet. The system is used to provide mobile users, comprehensive, orderly, efficient, low-cost all kinds of information services.
