Fiber Bragg Grating based Acoustic Sensing with Interferometric Interrogation

Abstract

We report our experimental studies on sensing of acoustic signal based on interferometric interrogation. Acoustical signals up to a frequency of 1 kHz has been detected using a fiber Bragg grating and a Mach-Zehnder interferometer.
