According to hot-rolled Q235 steel, four specimens of Buckling-restrained Brace of two sections and two composed methods were designed for Chinese steel market. The paper conducted the low-cyclical loading tests to detect the seismic performance of Buckling-restrained Brace. The force-deformation loops, the tangent stiffness and the equivalent damping ratio were studied. It is proved that the force-deformation loops of BRB are stable, plump and symmetrical. The equivalent stiffness and damping ratio are unaffected by steel variety and section form. Double angle steel core segments welded or no does not affect the interoperability, stiffness, ductility, energy consumption of BRB, and the collaborative is only associated with the relative stiffness of steel core and pipe.
