Properties of silver nanowire transparent electrodes fabricated by coating method

Abstract

We succeeded in fabricating silver nanowire transparent electrodes on polyethyleneterephthalate (PET) films using a bending method at room temperature. The silver nanowire transparent electrodes exhibited a remarkable combination of a high electrical conductivity of 30 ohms/sq and an optical transparency of 80%. It is very interesting that sheet resistance decreased by bending of silver nanowires. This technique will be applied to the development of flexible devices such as organic solar cells, flexible displays and flexible organic light-emitting diodes.
