Abstract

Abstract Ferroelectric and transverse electrooptic properties of PLZT ($$10/65/35) ceramics have been studied. A ferroelectric phase is induced by applying a d. c. electric field at temperatures below -20°C. The relation between electrooptical behaviour and dielectric-ferroelectric properties close to the induced phase transition temperature is treated.
