High-average power diode-pumped amplification of picosecond-pulses

Abstract

We present a diode-pumped regenerative Nd: YVO4-laser amplifier with a subsequent amplifier. The behavior of fast Pockels-cell switches for generation of nanosecond and amplification of picosecond pulses with repetition rates up to 100 kHz was investigated.
