Abstract

Abstract The kinetics and mechanism of the catalytic decomposition of H 2 O 2 by Fe 3+ ion, haemin and catalase are discussed. A general mechanism is set up. The kinetic features of the three catalytic systems are discussed in terms of this mechanism.
