Tunable luminescence and energy transfer properties in Ca8MgLu(PO4)7:Ce3+,Tb3+,Mn2+ phosphors

Abstract

The chromaticity coordinates of CMLP:0.02 Ce3+,xTb3+ and CMLP:0.02 Ce3+,yMn2+ shift from the blue to red (arrow a) and green region (arrow b) respectively, as the value of x and y increase based on the energy transfers from Ce3+ to Tb3+ and Mn2+. White light is obtained in CMLP:0.02Ce3+,0.04Tb3+,0.04Mn2+.
