Abstract

Magnetic critical current J c of Tl 2 Ba 2 Ca 2 Cu 3 O y was measured. It is comparable with that of YBa 2 Cu 3 O 7−x in a field H up to 60 kOe at T≤15 K. For higher temperature, the J c of Tl 2 Ba 2 Ca 2 Cu 3 O y decreases more rapidly than that of YBa 2 Cu 3 O 7−x . Possible origin is discussed.
