Abstract

Is philosophy an individual’s disposition? Does its origin reside in distancing, in isolating? Admiration is the crucial point in demonstrating that looking at the other or recognizing the alterity is the starting point of philosophy, thus revealing its essentially relational character. Similarly, education is the search for the other whose preservation is the guaranty of educational relationship.
