Industrial Wastewater Recovery & Re-use with Membranes

Year: 2003 Journal:   Filtration & Separation Vol: 40 (7)Pages: 38-40   Publisher: Elsevier BV

Abstract

The use of membranes for the recovery and re-use of industrial wastewater continues to grow, driven by their ability to guarantee a high product water quality regardless of feed water quality. The recently published book ‘Membranes for Industrial Wastewater Recovery and Re-use’ by Dr Simon Judd and Dr Bruce Jefferson, Cranfield University, UK, takes an in depth look at this technology and its applications in the recovery of industrial effluents for re-use. In the following article Filtration+Separation presents a synopsis of the book.
