Pemantauan Penggunaan Listrik Peralatan Rumah Tangga Melalui Telepon Genggam Pengguna

Abstract

Many people, either intentional or\nunintentional, did not know they left their electrical\nhome appliances such as air conditioners, televisions,\nlights, etc. still in an active state when leaving their\nhomes, so we need a system that can wirelessly\nmonitor the electricity usage in their homes. In this\nstudy, it has been designed a system that can monitor\nthe use of electrical equipment which used in the\nhome. This system utilize the internet via mobile\nphone technology to monitor electric power usage at\nhome and control their use by user’s mobile phone. To\nprocess the data output from current and voltage\nsensor which used to measure the values of electric\ncurrent and voltage, it use AT Mega 128\nMicrocontroller with 10-bit ADC inside. The results of\nthis study is a package of both hardware and software\nfor mobile phones and for home monitoring server.
